Here we have a small, no frills, download manager for mp3fiesta music files
As the site mp3fiesta.com only provides Windows and Mac version of their downloader I had to write my own.
It works resonably well (obviously, much depends on what 'reasonable' means to you)
covering my basic needs, to automatically download dozen of files securely.
There are two remaining problems:
Does not download files greater than 32 or 33 MBytes (I have never been able to find
the exact threshold that makes the program fail)
Drag'n'drop is included in code but deactivated as Java's DnD is not well behaving
(at least for me, maybe times have changed since the version [1.6.0] I used for coding)
It is very simple to use:
You just need to download the 'mp3fiestaDownloadmanager.jar' file and the 'lib' folder
Put both in a folder and start the .jar file. You could either click it from the GUI
(if the association: '.jar' to JVM has been correctly set-up) or execute from the command line:
java -jar mp3fiestaDownloadManager.jar
And the following interface should appear:
Once there, the working should be auto-explanatory:
press 'Connect to server' once entered your data, the program will
recover the music titles in your 'Download' folder and show them.
Once shown you select the ones you want to download and press 'Download music',
that will ask you where do you want your music saved.
The program worked reliabilitly for me (apart from the two bugs above) but I cannot guarantee its working now
as I have no longer an mp3fiest.com account and the site has been changing his interface at least once a year.
